We could send a letter to that University in N.T. and tell them that ''Our Wombat'' Is a direct decendant of thier wombat ?? and with a bit of luck they might send the Guys in white coats to pick him up and take him away for research. Just an Idea, but i think it's a good one

Bones of these found at Lake Mungo National Park - there is also a life size model at the visitors' centre there. Definitely would not like to encounter one on a dark night!!

No. I was up with the sparrows and walking. I have had a very nice day relaxing here at Lakes Entrance just sitting quietly and reading and doing heaps of nothing in general.
This is real hard this retirement stuff and on the road as a GN.
Being an active wombat that you are, you wouldn't cope at all mate.
