It looks like we are in for it here in down town Lakes Entrance weather wise and I tell you that for free. The wind has picked up real strong and rain is around the corner. Bummer.
All my neighbours have folded in their awnings etc so I thought I would bring mine down as well, it is of the rope track type so don't want it destroyed by the weather gods. I survived the other day but this time is a bit suss. If the weather is no good tomorrow I will leave it down as I was bringing it down Thursday anyway in readiness for my Friday departure.
Without the awning up I now feel naked. Where is wombat's Nulla lady when you want her.

I just saw a map on facebook Doug. Looks like Victoria is in for a doozy. Stay safe and batten down the hatches.

Well most of that real bad weather must have gone around us as I am still here in one piece, it was very windy most of the night but I don't think much rain as I decided to put the ear plugs in and dosed off until about 5.30am this morning. It was safe enough as the Avan would have been rock'n and roll'n so I would have woken up.
I put the awning back up early as it only took about 5 minutes because I left all the pegs and ropes out anyway.
Might go for that boat trip today I told you about in a previous post. It was too wild and woolly yesterday arvo for this little black duck.

Nice blue sky here in Frankston Vic, as well - slight breeze from the look of it - haven't been outside yet - can't get used to daylight saving!!!!!

Thanks mate. It is really nice here this morning, going to be a nice day. I will start packing up this afternoon for a early getaway in the morning.
Payensville and Metung are not little anymore and during the cruise we noticed how the other half live too, I'm sure you wouldn't say no to a house sit in that place and I tell you that for free. I will post a pic with my next update.

Paynesville used to be about 4 shops and 7-8 houses behind the shops, will have to try and have a look down that way the next time we are over there
