Did the usual, late departure from Greens, all hugs & tears as I left..lol then I am sure someone said "Thank goodness he is gone".
Made like a tourist in Echuca (didn't even spend a penny)
Then ambled across to Mathoura, had a good time walking the numerous history laden trails next to Gulpa Creek and Edwards River.
Arrived at Deniliqin later than expected. Did the tour around numerous streets, found a Caravan Park(that is a naughty word according to John) diagonally across from a RSL. Searched and asked around for any ladies in distress camped alone in the district..Nope, Dawa has herself well camouflaged and unable to locate her.
But a very aged gentleman (older than John) approached me asking if I was lost...nope..just didn't know where I was. And he directed me to a spot where he took some young 'fillies' for picnics back in his youth.
Well, here I am at that location, no 'fillies' but on the junction of two flowing water courses and a vast sandy beach.
Will keep you all in suspenders until tomorrow with pics of this Eden on the Finley Road.
I could keep an eye on him whilst he was here at Green's but let him out of sight and he posts all these wonderful pictures.
Well done Dennis and I hope that you find what you are looking for, if you have too much success just let me know and I will help you out.
John

Sounds like you are camped at twin rivers. How long are you there for?

I think Dawa is parked in some trees beside a river outside Deni. I remember something like that when I read her blog.
Looks like you will enjoy yourself out there in the field Dennis. Interesting reading and photos.

I love your pics - but can you download them a bit smaller? My laptop is barely big enough to see them properly.
