Well done Pam as this site is Twin Rivers, not far out of Deniliquin along the Finley Rd. Small Blue sign points you along a short but good dirt road.
Boat ramp, sandy beach, shade, breezes, several tinnies launched this morning and one husband & wife could not get their outboard to start. I did make a suggestion that she jumps out and gives it a push start..hubby had a good laugh and I was prepared to run for cover.
I made an attempt, but all I caught were a few pics...enjoy.
Pam lives in Deni, Ole-Grizzly. You might be able to meet up before you move on. We have met quite a few times.

Touching my head (wood) no mozzies as yet and a few sticky flies away from the waters edge. Very calm here today, rivers flowing well and being parked in the open away from possible Red Gums tossing branches at me make it quite warm.
Asked a few locals this morning, launching their boats of possible other free camp areas and seems there is many.Is one 15+km out of town (bugga, forgot name) which has toilets and water and along side forest reserve, but no phone or internet signal. Just might be where Dawa is camped. Conargo is possibly the place. Will check when that fisherman returns later.

Dawa is in some trees by a channel, just out of Deni. I got that from her post in Dawa where are you? In the solos.

WOW !! I am mentioned in a topic title. Local knowledge Dennis. The place 15 ks out would be Benarca out towards Stevens weir.
I work Monday Tuesday Wednesday so might get the chance to meet Thursday if you are still in the area.
As far as Dawa is concerned she only reads the solo section so perhaps you should put a post in there.
Glad you are enjoying this lovely part of Aus.

Thanks Pam. I'm a bit late adding where the next good spot might be...now in the record book. I did intend to wait for Scotty to arrive tomorrow at twin rivers, but my old health issue rose it's ugly head again and felt insecure being alone. So packed up after lunch and headed off to Finley...arrived too early so continued on. Not good..my meds made me weary so pulled up under a shady tree for a 'nanna nap'....ended up having a 'grandpa nap' as well and woke 2 hours later.
Now in the Berrigan Lions Caravan Park to convalesce.
A sweet little clean & tidy park....surrounded by numerous trees, bird life chattering happily, and next door to swimming pool surrounded by shade structures and manicured lawns. Park fees-

Take it easy Ole-Grizzly. Maybe you should have stopped in Finley even though it was early. If you are not well, better to stop there and have your grandpa nap. Stay put till you are feeling better. No use over doing it. All the best.
