We left Jim and Leonie's after two lovely weeks on the 23rd and stayed two days at Forster and had a look around. Big sea running so fishing was out. Then on to Pacific Palms and the trip out to sugarloaf lighthouse at seal rocks. The rocks sure would have been a hazard to ships in those days.
Friday 26th on to the Hunter Valley, and an overnight stop at a rest area right on the corner of the New England and Golden Highways! Big rigs passed all night!!!
Suffered a mild case of sleep deprivation.
Saturday into Singleton to look at the world's largest sun dial, and the sun was shining and guess what, it read the correct time taking daylight saving into account.
Enquired at information centre of places to free camp and one at Broke was recommended. Parked up there and because it was our wedding anniversary, had a late lunch at Nightingale winery. Liked the wine so much went back next morning and bought a few bottles.
Just about to leave and Johnathon pops out of nowhere. He had been in the area and recognized the sound of the Chevvy. Good to catch up with him again.
Then down to Sydney to catch up with old NZ neighbour who lives over here. Stayed a night in Lane Cove National Park right in the middle of town.
Now down at Berry Showgrounds with Briche for a couple of days. Then moving on down the coast to visit friends at Bega.
That's all from us now.

Glad you are enjoying yourselves, Brandt and Lorraine - and happy anniversary!!!!!!
Make sure you visit the vineyards in NE Victoria when you get down here - around Milawa, Rutherglen, etc - some of the smaller wineries have amazing tastes - there is one called Feathertop at Myrtleford - their cab sav is like drinking silk, it is so smooth and creamy - can taste it now!!!!!!!
Bega cheese factory is terrific - just do the samplings and you won't have to have lunch!
