We used them in the 50s 60s and knew them as the Bengarzi pot, as they were used in the desert during the war with no nacled flame visable and were quick with little fuel needed. This is the modern one. http://www.kellykettle.com/

Hi Turbopete.
They come under various names, I remember one called a thermet, they have been around since I was kid 64years ago. I saw one recently in a camping shop, Alpine Country in Victoria.

Hi, try,
royce rimfire bush kettles.
they come in sizes from 1ltr,3ltr and 6ltr, prices are $69.95 1ltr, $79.95 3ltr, $89.95 6ltr plus postage a lot better price than rays or bfc.
I have had mine a year or so and it works very well, its a great saving over using gas.

I've got the 1.5 and 700mls Eco billy. I haven't used them much so can't comment on how good they are.

G'dayTurbopete ... I won a $79 one in a raffle nearly two years ago, never used it yet. We had a garage sale here a couple of weeks ago ... nobody wanted it. We are in Kalgoorlie if your close by. If not ... can make some arrangement.
Cheers
