A day that should always be remembered.
My father fought in Borneo during the second world war.
Grandfather fought in Turkey during the first world war, was in the 6th Light horse. & also fought in the second war.

I forgot to remember this morning and was in Bunnings at 11am. They recited the Ode and played The Last Post over the store's loudspeaker, and that enormous store was silent. People stood wherever they were at the time, respectfully observing the minutes silence. It was more moving than if I had gone to an official ceremony. Goodonya Bunnings!
