Good Morn wombat you are awake unusually early being a nocturnal creature ,,,,the need is for the notification to advise what topic the post is in,,, the notification will take you to the topic only not to the general
forum so you have to open the forum and search for the post from 15 topics,,(remember the age and senility bit) ,,if you are in the general forum and you want to have a look at a particular post how do you
remember which of the 15 topics your post is in,,options are go to email and find the notification or go to user details and have a look,,,, better that the notification advise in the first place where the post is,,,ok
wombat go back to bydies now good night, sleep tight love you kisskiss

Thanks for the great suggestions - it would make sense if we could make something like that happen. I will contact the company that hosts the forum and see if those changes are possible. Fingers crossed.

I'm confused so have subscribed to this thread to see what happens. I thought if you clicked on the bit that wombat indicated it took you to the actual thread you were subscribed to. Not to the front page as you indicated turbopete. I will be watching with interest.
