Apparently in their wisdom (without any prior warning) Optus decided to change the frequency. Anyone with an Alden auto sat dish & having trouble this is how you reprogram it. Switch off with central switch. Switch on, pressgreen switch until 2 green lights show then switch off again. Switch on, press green switch until 3 green lights show. Switch off again. Now programmed to D3. Can now search for & find D3 satellite. Hope this helps. Apparently sat C1 is not being used now. Any more info required please feel free to ask

My technical adviser (husband) made a small mistake when writing out info for me - After first switching off & then switching on you should then press red switch until 2 green lights show. Then switch off again. Switch on & press red switch until 3 green lights show. Switch offf again. . Sorry if this confused anyone

Thanks for the info Kandagal. I hope ours is that easy to do when we get around to it. We are not on the road at the moment and the van is in the shop for a service and some warranty work.

is this the same for the VAST system?
that runs off of C1
OK guys, I just contacted Phillip @ http://www.satplus.com.au/ and he said "as long as you have a 10700 LNB nothing needs to be changed."
so VAST system's will work as usual.
