Damm caught by the Internet Police. I thought even nomads grew hair. Maybe I should have said while in your Caravan or Trailer to conform?
Maybe I'll put verything in I Digress to be safe.

Voted never, however I run a clipper with #2 over the beard every few weeks and tidy up the neck etc with a safety razor.

Bit hard for me to be definite Terry, if at home, daily if going out, although sometimes a quick trip to the shops I wouldn't.
Hardly ever if I have a beard, just a trim now and then. Beard is easy on the road. Or if no beard just shave now and then.
I have a two head shaver when on the road, has good battery life and 240V charger for when on power.
My advice would be go with whatever you feel comfortable with both at home and travelling.
I have voted weekly as a medium.....

Gday...
I had "mutton-chop" sideburns until I was 19.
Except for a 6 week period back in 1992, I have had a full beard since.
I run a clipper with #2 over the beard every few weeks and tidy up the neck.
Cheers - John

I only had 35 years in a suit and tie shaving every day, but being the Nomad246 my habits have changed.
Around twice a week these days unless there's a collar involved, which is occassionally. and that's just pits.
Cheers

Ha Ha, must be mostly females voting here. Mr D was sporting mutton chops for a while this year, but general concesus was SHAVE IT OFF. Had to anyway as latest job on the road involved wearing a dust mast, so no beards allowed.

Hmmmmmm ,,, this forums guidlines are
"The Grey Nomads - General Forum (7 viewing)
A friendly forum where you can seek advice, exchange tips and share experiences about the grey nomad lifestyle"
Maybe it's not following guidelines to seek advice, exchange tips and share experiences. I dunno, I'm just a newbie that shaves every other day and I left my brain in the bucket by the door upon entry.
Cheers

I believe this subject is quite suitable for this forum as it was a question in regard to nomad lifestyle. 'I Digress' is about digressing from topics about the nomad lifestyle.

I'm the same as Santa, just do a clean up on a monthly basis with a #2, touch up with a razor and there you go. My top side is getting a little easier each time as the stuff on top is going through a thinning process of its own.
Enjoy the freedom

I've always wondered how comfortable those really long shaggy beards are. The ones that look like they never get trimmed or shaped. I expect they get caught up with the chest hair eventually and start to intertwine. Am I right?

I am with many of the males. A #2 now and again for a trim and a clip with the scissors around the lips when required.
Shorts, tshirts and no shoes. Occasionally a jumper when needed.

Had my last shave in 1972... Trim my beard to 1/2" every month or so. Important to keep your beard clean. I shampoo my hair & beard every night...
