And did it what, all Grey Nomads (16) here at greens Lake had Xmas yesterday afternoon and what can I say but WOW. Everyone had a great time and feast.
I thought I'd already had the highlight of this trip of mine but this experience here at Greens Lake has moved right to the top of my highlights list and I tell you that for free.
A big thankyou Brandt (kiwi-as) and Lorraine (kiwi rainbow) for arranging this very special event and a very big thankyou to all the "Chefs" and everyone who contributed both food and great company to make Xmas at Greens Lake a very memorable experience indeed.
Brandt cooked up a great Greens Lake special stew in his camp oven and Lorraine couldn't let him take the limelight so cooked up a great red wine stew in her dream pot, now come on guys how are we supposed to say which one was the best when the famous Pav and Trifle hadn't come out yet and I must add that they havn't come out in the FIVE day's you have been here.
However, they did come out in a very short time and lived up to their famous reputations.
THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU To everyone in attendance and contributing to a great time had by all.
Pics to follow due to a problem uploading them.
Oh! please don't yell at me Lorraine for any mistakes in this post.

A great night. I thoroughly enjoyed the eats even if I am suffering this morning and can't go over for the leftovers. Will leave those for the others. Magic night.

It's so Wonderfull when something like this is suggested, everybody just steps forward. Like Doug, when I said I was dying to try the camp oven that Jim(Justcrusin) had given me some weeks ago, he put up his hand and said I'll get 2kg of steak, thanks mate. Cheryl set up a Christmas scene , tables appeared,Dream pot cheese cakes made by Noreen,an intending new GN with husband Graham. Thank you everybody at Greens Lake for making it so successful. God bless you all.
