Just to prove there's life in the old dog yet, our tried and trusted old website has made a dramatic ... and unexpected ... return. Thanks everybody for your kind comments on our new look website, but it became pretty obvious there was some major issues with it loading quickly enough. The 'culprit' has been identified as the server being not properly compatible with the new site. It all meant that when a lot of people were trying to access the site it was painfully slow .... but at other times it was 'relatively' efficient. Fear not, lovers of change, the bold and the beautful new site will be back within a day or two. In the meantime, for all you sentimental types enjoy your bonus trip down memory lane, take a last loving look at the outgoing site, and take the chance to say gooodbye to an old friend. Sob! Sob!

Hi guys. Great to get feedback. Thanks. Yes, the whole accessibility for people out there on the road was uppermost in our minds when we started the revamp project. We are assured by the website gurus that this won't be a major issue and is actually designed with mobile devices in mind. Clearly more and more people are using phones etc to access the website and we wanted to get that right. We hope we have! The new site doesn't have Flash and, once we have sorted out this latest server issue, should act quickly and efficiently. The whole revamp is intended to make the site easier for people to navigate and to make information easier to find ... as well as being kind of fun to look at. We desperately hope that any 'negatives' - and I am sure there are going to be some - will be more than outweighed by the positives. Time will tell. We, of course, remain ever receptive to suugestions and ideas and, most importantly want to hear how the new website is perfoming on all platforms (once it is up and running).

Looks like the new site will use a lot more down load . I am for the first time using the activeboard site to avoid the freezing on the main page

Best wishes Cindy, hope you soon sort it out.
Milo.... you're approaching too fast, 60-65 knots, full flap, look well up along the runway as you round out, don't look at the ground immediately in front of you. You need to gradually increase the back pressure on the column as the speed washes off.
