Princess Judy is starting to act like a kid 3 day before christmas, comments like Can't wait, getting close, need to pack?, in fact in the spare room is 80% of what we need to take, what do you thionk about? will we need ? just 2 week till we head off to melbourne to pick up new van and take month to return home. First of many trips away.
Must be honest I am a bit this way secretly, but mine is consumed in getting cruiser ready, with changing cd/radio for in dash gps/cd/dvd etc unit, electric barkes. Anderson plud, extra 12v outlet in back UHF. decided not to worry about Bullbar untill we get back home as time is short and no use rushing it.
Keep well all and will let you know of ininary to and from melb when we finalise so might be chance to catch up on the road.

Just been through all that, Dave but only took a couple of days to come home as our deal is somewhat different. Once reno's finished on house & it's on the market (very shortly) then we hit the road "address Australia". It's a great feeling to finally be getting there, isn't it? Pretty soon the only question will be "which way / how far will we go today or will we move on at all?"

Hi Sylvia, after much searching and decision making we went for a custom made JB. the bonus with this is dealing direct with the manufacturers, no middle dealer taking their $8 - $10 K slice and a mid december delivery if we went to melbourne to pisk it up. when most other brands were telling us april 2013 and these were third party dealers. we had put a post on some weeks ago but will put up another when we hitch up.

Oh we sooo know what you mean!! the anticipation is so overwhelming. We too have not long bought our long planned rig and are finally heading off permanently tomorrow
The boss has made a few changes and has made our " Flat on Wheels" a home. Mind you we have spent the last week saying goodbye to friends and loved ones Not much fun.
Have a wonderful time and enjoy every second and I LOVED the advise from neilnruth "Wait til you don't even know which day it is and don't really care!!! " Mmmmmmmm bliss
Cheers Wendy
