Gday...
A DISUSED bowling green at Beerwah in the Sunshine Coast hinterland will become a $10-a-night overnight facility for caravanners and other travellers.
Glasshouse Country Chamber of Commerce president Bob McLean was working with officials from the Beerwah RSL Club to transform the neglected green into a convenient stopover for small, self-contained RVs. He said visitors could enjoy meals, drinks and pokies at the RSL, camp overnight and then explore what the region had to offer.
The plan had "huge support" with local businesses eager to see it up and running.
Cheers - John

the rsl is on the wrong side of the railway if you want to walk to town i suppose it would be the same as the showground theres also a pay as you go on at gawinta farms down roys road . glass house mtns has the cobb n co cvan park 300 mtrs up the road from us i think its a good place a jc and kewes lol well a good place to hide anyways theres a free site on cricky way (steve erwin way ) but i recon it could get a bit truck noisy in a gully sorta and a wooden bridge 100 mts away . o and theres our back yard easy turn around and full facilities

i realy like the ole cobb n co one at old gympie road glasshouse mountains ,and the guy that runs it is great calls a spade a spade so to speak ,the Kiwi As and Just Cruisin have experienced this place, and jim and leonie keep coming back so its gotta have something going for it, much nicer than beerwah i reckon.
And yes we have so much to see and do here ,Maleny the drive is lovely,Kenilworth cheese factory, Maleny cheese, then for the days drives you have Eumundi markets on the wed and sat, also caboolture markets are realy good too.
Lots of places to go ,Montville is one of my favourite villages, the shops have some amazing talented people.
