Looking at buying a new fridge due to an expanding family and a mate suggested the Primus Mammoth 65 dual zone (wife wants to take icecreams for the little ones). Has anyone had any experience with one of these or heard good or bad reports? From what I can see they are exactly the same as the evakool.
Cheers
Dan

Hi Dan my brother in-law visit me recently and had a Primus 68 lts. They are a big unit his only trouble was he needed a ladder to get into it because it was on his ute tray and to heavy to take of the back of the ute , He did get a wireless thermometer for it to monitor had cold it was without having to climb up onto the back of the ute .

Thanks for the welcome everyone and the feedback brickies. I thought they look heavy. The thing my mate likes (mind you he has an engel not a primus) is that the two seperate compartments run independantly off the one compressor so you can turn one half off, have both fridge, have one fridge one freezer or both freezer. They also have baskets in each compartment so the fridge can go in dry and then have the baskets put in to overcome weight issues but I dont think I would have the room with the canopy on. Seems like I might need to do some testing.
