We'll be heading across to Perth & staying for a couple of weeks while my daughter presents me with a new grandchild. Sandra will also get to spend a bit of time with her eldest son & family (new bub there as well). Given that we will be moving between Mullaloo & Willeton I was wondering whether anyone could suggest either a free campsite or low cost park that is dog friendly & reasonably handy to both places.

probably a bit close to Perth for a free camp. Willeton is not too far from Fremantle where there are a few caravan parks but it if its holiday season you may need to book. Fremantle will assure you of cool breezes. Mullaloo is quite a way further north. Finding a dog friendly park may be a problem. There's a park at Ascot and one at Karrinyup that might suit - not sure about dogs. Might increase your options if the dog could perhaps stay with the families you intend visiting.

Mmmm - I did think of Wattle Grove but a fair hike to Mullaloo (via the Tonkin) orWilleton. I know the park at Kelmscott takes dogs and would be OK for a short stay but again not very central
