hi just baught a motor home and the external roof is a bit shabby and i am going to llean sand and re seal/paint and am looking for ideas/sugestions as to what to use on it ""ie paint ,decking sealer ,,, interested in all sugestions please

Hi 'Newbie' which you won't be for long.
There was a thread recently about roof painting and the question was asked about the Thermal Shield Paint which both seals well and insulates.
There is a company in Maryborough Qld called Insuladd that do a heatproofing paint which does actually work.It's a fair bit dearer than normal paint but it does do as stated Keeps heating and cooling bills down by insulating the roof.
If you Google them or go to the search button on this site and look for Paint you should get other peoples answers too.

painted the last van with the thermal paint from qld hard to tell what diff it makes
lot of mucking about following the instructions do it undercover or needs about 5days
no rain that was about 5yrs ago might have changed now
i would talk to a painter toget info about other paint if i did it again
