North of Adelaide - Port Parham and Mallala sports reserve. Both have toilets, Mallala has shower as well. Both about 30 minutes north.

Get yourself a copy of 'camps6 Australia Wide' gunnaraaf. Camps6 is about to be overtaken by Camps7 Mid February. Invaluable and known as the campers "Bible"

Welcome to the forum gunnaraaf. Glad someone could help you. There always seems to be at least one person who knows the answer! It's a great forum.

Hi You probably know about the rest areas each side of the Geelong freeway adjacent the petrol outlets - both very useful if going into or escaping the big Melbourne smoke!
What size rig are you in? If you fit in a normal car park and need a night actually in Adelaide as long as you do not make it obvious you are 'camping' and you park legally and quietly you should be ok for the night in town.

My mother lives on the foreshore at Semaphore and there are often campervans parked there overnight. No one seems to mind as long as there's no rubbish or racket!
