Thinking about taking our first shake down run and would like to know what the Darlington Point Riverside Caravan Park is like on the Murrumbidgee River in New South. Been past it a couple of times and now we have the van and an excuse, we can go?
So if anyone can give us any info, it would be greatly appreciated.

Havn't stayed at the CP there Boothie , but it looks OK driving past .
We camped at a free site just along the river a bit when we were there .
Spent 5 nights there and would defineately go back . Not a bad town
The butcher there is good . Cod in the river too .

I am answering my own question, I like it, roughish and absolutely friendly and at $25 for a powered site a night good enough for me, beats those big ones with the 4 in the name that try and convince that they are the ants pants. Pet friendly and on the banks of the Murrumbidgee, birdlife galore and an early morning chorus that is the shortest I have ever heard, that dry the birds either haven't got to energy to sing or they are heading out to eat.
Toilets clean and water hot, what else does one want?
