Got a question about greenslips in NSW. Who would be the best one to go with? Also is cheaper better? Some recommendations would be appreciated thanks.

G'day ColB,
I personally dont think it makes much difference who you are with. It is a compulsory policy that is set by gov't. We recently did the search and found that for our location GIO was the cheapest.
you can search from the RMS(RTA) website and it will give you 5 or 6 quotes.

ColB,
Do check online the quotes, my insurer who I have used for years sent me a renewal for $730. When I checked on line other reputable companies where charging around $420 for the same cover. Get quotes and compare, believe me it's worth it!

I just renewed my green slip with AAMI $314, for my Holden Colorado but they gave me a $50 caltex fuel card so makes it $264 works for me

g'day copper1, that was a good price even without the fuel card
my GIO greenslip is $331.00 and no added benefits
I will go look at AAMI
thanks mate

edit: did the quote with AAMI and the price came out at $337.25 which is dearer than GIO. must be where I live or something equally ridiculous.
