I have had one for about 1 year - installed myself and had no problems at all. Brakes are smooth and progressive in application. Instructions supplied are adequate and there is heaps of help at Tekonsha and the web if you need it. So I'm very happy.

I installed one 3 weeks ago. only towed a short way to set up my hitch with the new tug but all seemed to work ok, set up was easy enough.

Installed ours along with the monitor required in NSW myself, Jim. Easy job, even on the BT-50. Only done Nowra - Gulgong plus a couple of shorter runs with the van on but really happy with it. Normal braking is smooth & progressive plus a trial emergency stop worked well.

Terrific, better than earlier models, purchased mine through ebay, kit including wire cable, fuse, etc for $195.00 delivered. easy to fit and works great on the new van.

I installed a Prodigy a few years back and I'm very happy with it. The Prodigy is similar to the P3 with a few less bells and whistles. The Prodigy may be no longer available having been superseded by the P3, not sure.

Hi Jim.
We dont have the P3 but have the Prodigy the one before and I'm very happy with the performance far superior to the Voyager we previously had.
Easy to connect as a replacement as the wiring colour coding is the same so virtually just a swap.

G'day JC, after checking numerous reviews, forum member posts and asking around it got pretty good reports and so I had one installed. It works as advertised and I am very happy with it and happy to recommend it.
Cheers

Same as all the rest, self installed quite easy. Hardest part was getting to the brake wire under dash, we have had no problems so far (touch wood).

Darrell/Sandra, what is the monitor you must have in NSW - you don't mean a breakaway brake cable thingamijig?
Thanks Denis

Yeah, Denis I got a tad carried away. The monitor is for the Brakesafe unit & indicates the Brakesafe battery condition every time the brake pedal is applied if the van is connected.
