(Spoke too soon) and posting problems seems to have returned, was able to put an avatar back on though!

ok for you maybe, but I can't seem to sign in.... Although it is interesting that even though no matter how many times I enter my user name and password it still shows me as not signed in, I am still seeing this post box, it will be interesting to see if this post actually goes up, and if it does if it is against my user (nicholstones) given that at the same time as I am typing it the sign in box is showing at the top if the screen as blank, indicating that I am not signed in.
Afterwards: Well there you go, not only did my post appear, but suddenly the forum grudgingly acknowledges that, yes, I really am signed in. So maybe not all gremlins chased down and eliminated after all.

Mine has reverted to what yours is also, I am wondering if it is because they are working on it, worked for a bit then reverted

Yep -still having trouble myself - posts not showing as "read" - and other problems as well - oh, well patience is a virtue they say, and I need some virtue, lost mine somewhere along life's highway

Not fixed here Vic, I still have to hit "Refresh" to do anything and everything. It must a big problem as it's been a week now. Cindy will have to get out into the playground after this.

This forum is third party hosted by Sparklit (www.sparklit.com) based in (I think) Vancouver BC. There's probably not a lot Cindy can do other than report the problem.

There is another forum using activeboard.com the same as GN and they are having the same problem (I assume activeboard is part of Sparklit) so I guess any forum using active board is having the same problem.
I just feel sorry for Cindy as she is also trying to run a business off the website among other things...
