Hi all, I think the forum problems are nearly at an end. Sparklit has reassured me that the issues should be sorted out on their server within 2 days.  In the meantime, they have provided instructions for clearing the cache in different browsers so you can get the most updated version of all threads.  Here are the instructions they provided:

Firefox:
Tap the Alt key on the keyboard, this should bring up the menu bar
Tools> Options> Advanced Tab> Network tab
In the Cached Web Content section, click Clear Now

Google Chrome:
To access the history, just type in chrome://history/ in the URL/address
bar
OR hit Ctrl+H in windows, Command+Y for Mac
Now click the Clear all browsing data
Choose the beginning of time
Make sure you have all options below selected
Click Clear browsing data


Internet Explorer
Press the Alt key on your keyboard. This should make the menu appear.
Go to Tools > Internet Options
Under the general tab, in the browsing history section, click delete
Make sure all options are selected, then click on Delete.

Pressing Alt key did nothing.  Went to Tools on Toolbar, and did it from there.  Hope I haven't stuffed anything up.

I tried what you suggested as well but with no success, never mind things will sort out in the end. Still playing up as I post this. The forum, not me.
