Hi It happened to me a few months ago in the same area and possible the same overtaking lane I was not towing our van at the time. I ended up well into the grass verge as the tamac ran out in front of me at 100 kph. I thought I was a good driver with enough experience to avoid these situation. It left me shaking at how close the semi trailer had come as it crossed in front of me, pushing to the left all the time, if i had held my line the semi would have crushed the front end of the cruiser. Did i give chase ? no I was to shaken up . Its a good job my heart is good.

Gday...
........ and we wonder why we have a road toll .... and truckies get a bad name
However, at least the truckie who had this camera on his rig gave the idiot a load on the CB (too bad they beeped out the pertinent descriptive words ).
One idiot truckie's stoopid actions continues to prove the old adage ... one good act is never reported but one bad (dangerous) act will be repeated a thousand times.
I have lotz of respect for truckies - mostly hard-working, dedicated blokes with a job with long hours that takes them away from their families ... thankfully the idiots are only encountered infrequently.
cheers - John
