I thought I'd share these for GN's who camped here last May.

I was thinking of you and your family earlier today. I take it from this that you're OK. How about the Tin Can Bay branch? This is all so sad especially coming so soon after the last lot of floods.

.. and here's a "before"shot also .. taken from where we were camped ..
That's not good at all Beth, glad to see the dog's are safe and keeping an eye open for anyone in trouble.
Looks a great place Jon in that pic. Nice pic too.
Floods and fires are keeping me off the roads just for the time being, the authorities can do without me out there getting in the way.

How weird...I had to click on 'quote' as 'reply' brought up all those photos I posted.
Anyway, thanks for posting the before photo Jon.
Yes, Jim, plenty of high ground where their house is too. I'd say they're cut off from either direction on the access road, but they'd be used to it.
Lynda, sis & bil are in Landsborough. They'd gone to help their daughter move..yes bad timing..and are now cut off from home. A neighbour has checked on their house at TCB though and all's good. They have their caravan there so not really too much of a problem.

Hi Jon,
The problems with the site might have something to do with the internet. I've been having some problems with my wifi wireless internet gadget and when I phoned up to complain, again, the message advised Telstra-Bigpond is having some problems.
That camp ground looks beaut. I don't get over that way, well, not yet anyway.
Stay safe folks.

"After the flood waters receed & the clean up is over, a little bit of magic happens! Everything comes to life. The grass fluffs up, the kangaroos appear, the birds are busy swooping insects & the billabong bubbles with life!" Quote from Cobb & Co Nine Mile Campground.
I thought I'd share these for GN's who camped here last May.
