Anyone got a Vitrifrigo fridge with a separate compressor?

Our van came with a 40lt bar fridge and we can squeeze in a Vitrifrigo C130L fridge only but where to put the compressor is the problem. If you own one, where did you put your compressor?
Our alternative is a Waeco 1080. I am concerned that even though it is double the size of what we currently have, things in the fridge will still freeze if close to the freezer compartment.

Struth Gayle, wish I could help you, but I can't even say Vitrifrigo after my own personal Happy Hour.
And I guess you'd need a crowbar to make all the luxuries fit in your little cubby.
Welcome to this 24 hour 'Happy Hour' amongst a great mob of people...cheers

We have a 130L Vitrifrigo all fridge. Great fridge. The compressor and condensor is under a seat next to the fridge. It could be up to 1.5m away from the fridge. It needs good ventilation, but only to the inside, not outside like most.
Hi, I Iooked at the Vitrifrigo fridge as well as waeco cl140, both of which have very good reviews. I felt that the vitrifrigo had a better fridge compartment design, however I settled for the waeco 140 as I felt that the vitrifrigo's extrenal compressor took up extra room and needed a well ventilated area. As I already had a ventilated area in the fridge compartment, so I did not see any reason to cut extra holes.
