The Racecourse at Broken Hill is where we stayed. Only a short trip to visit Silverton, DayDream mines & desert sculptures in the living desert. $15 per night for unpowered. $25 to plug-in. See WikiCamps for details.

Yes. The showers are in the price. No key required. Two showers in the jockeys room, under the Grandstand. See WikiCamps for all the details. Sounds like you need WikiCamps anyway, since then you not have to ask this question.

Racecourse can be a problem if there is an event happening. When we went out to see it the folk we talked to said they were going to have to move to a different area when a big event was happening the next day. You do have to check in with the caretaker before parking.

All I can say is that I showered their for 8 days in May. The next race day is in Oct. Caretakers are busy at this venue.
