hi all, has anyone used those flat, flexable solar panels that i see getting around these days, apparently they can be rolled up when not in use,,,i was thinking of using them on the roof of my hi lux escort vechile as they wouldn't obstruct the wide load sign or the lights,,, just wondering if anyone has a set or has used them at anytime
I just made the links Clickable Delta 18. I do that quite often when people haven't made them so. Unlike one other forum, if the links aren't underlined like that, they won't work when you click on them. Just saves people having to re-type the whole thing.

The software this forum uses doesn't automatically create links from website addresses, you have to insert them from the Advanced editor option.
Sheba just saved us the hassle of cutting and pasting into the address bar !

Sheba is one person that is a great help on this forum, thanks Sheba, I love reading your posts and seeing how you help people out with links etc. I read a while back about how to post a link but me being me got so confused I try not to post links, instead I PM someone with info most of the time.

I don't have any problem with posting a link in my replies, it is always clickable, the way I post a link is to go to the website that I require in my post, then copy the address from the address bar, then paste it into my reply, i always put in a space after I have created the link if that makes a difference I don't know, this may not be the same if you use quick reply instead of reply.
If you just type the website address instead of pasting, this might be the reason it doesn't become clickable!!!
Testing this theory, First google typed, Second google pasted.
Try the same in quick reply www.google.com.au https://www.google.com.au/ It does appear that the link is not clickable when posted in quick reply Cheers David

It would appear that at the moment not many are using these roll up panels, probably because of the cost, if you are just looking for flexible panels, there are many available on Ebay at a reasonable price.
You better spill the beans Mr smartie pants, or Sheba will give you a paddy whack with the drumstick, you know where !!!!

Can't have that, Chris. Okies, I use HTML code. Write your comment in quick reply, then click advanced editor. Select HTML from the tabs up top and wait for your text to appear.
Place the cursor at the beginning of the line you want activated as a link, and type this is the line of text And make sure the pasted URL is in inverted commas. If you don't have a copied URL to paste, you'll need to type it out in full. Then click submit post.
An easy way to copy URLs or any text is to highlight it and then use ctrl/c (simultaneously) to copy. Paste is ctrl/v
Oops! That didn't work because HTML code becomes invisible after posting. I'll write it again but leave spaces between. When you do it, close the spaces (except one space between a and href). After the word 'type' in the second para above. should be < a href = "paste URL here" >. Then at the end of the line you have activated, < / a > (with spaces closed). Now let's see if that works.
