Hello Denise and Alan. I am Lynn better known as Grams and my husband is Les better known as Poppy by our grandchildren :)
I found this web site the other week and it has been invaluable for information, or to just chat or have a laugh. It's nice to talk to people of similar age to us.

Hello to fellow travellers. Just a short post to introduce ourselves. My husband and I have been campers for some time now, although we are now owners of a van, and we are planning on a short adventure after the Easter rush as we would like to try out free camping in our van. We have read many of your posts and have gained some great insights into what we expect to be starting out on some terrific experiences. I'm sure there will be many questions we look forward to posting as well as conveying some of our experiences as they happen. We have the basics and intend to add to the gear as and when the need arises. Anyway, happy travels and look forward to joining the grey nomad community.

I was looking at various posts today and it just reinforced my perception that this forum has people from all walks of life and it seems that every last one will be future friends.Willing and able to help. From good advice to a friendly welcome all seem to fall into the category of friendly kind people.
I'm very glad I stumbled on this site and all those who visit.
