Hi Chris. Don't use Chrome. Tried it, but it's not for me. Prefer IE. Just giving alternatives to your method. What do you mean about "Standards"?
Cheers,
Sheba.

I thought that viewing webpages and uploading to forums would be "Standard" ie the same, no matter what web browser program one used !!!
This must be why some people have problems with links. Not everyone uses Internet Explorer !!!

Hi travellers,
If anyone is around Temora way during Easter weekend, there is the Recreational Aviation Australia
National flyin (NATFLY). Spitfire demo on the Friday lunch & an aerobatic display on the Saturday lunch by Paul Bennett.
Good atmosphere & camping at the airfield. Free forums if you are interested .
Could be a nice way to enjoy Easter :)
Air museum is another attraction & I believe there is a farm machinery museum locally also.

Not sure how to properly attach a link, sorry

Welcome Mr H,
Attaching a link is a grey art on this forum (pun intended). I use the chain link icon on the Advanced Editor page. Highlight the text then click the icon and insert the URL address
Thanks Chris, hopefully next time ill get it right ;) H

Hi Mr.H. I just type what I need to, then straight away, without a space, hit the Enter button. When I copy and paste some-one elses link, to make it clickable, I do the same. Sometimes however, I have to delete the last letter or symbol, re-type it, then hit the enter button for it to work. Had to do the latter with yours. Very simple.
Sheba, your technique works in Internet Explorer, but not in Google Chrome, the browser I use....( I thought I was going mad !!!)
So much for standards ????

I use Firefox. Anyway, I'm really peed off about being in Taree during the air show in Temora. How I would LOVE to be there and to video proceedings. Oh well... maybe another time.

I realise that Chris. That's why I still put my method out there sometimes, when some people are having trouble. It might work for them, if other systems don't.
Cheers,
Sheba.

I'll bet you wouldn't get a pilot shaking his fist at you, while you were filming.....

Sorry, I can't get the link to work, you will need to cut & paste. I tried the suggested methods to no avail.
I'm using a Mac with Safari & the link icon is greyed out. Weird, the Mac works fine on every other forum I follow. Doesn't work on iPad in Safari or Chrome.
Might have to go into my virtual Windows machine next time & use Explorer....ggggrrrrr....
