Hi all : MY 12v power unit that powered the lights and charged the 2* 100amp agm batteries in my van when on mains has finally died. It was over 10 years old. My question what unit do others have in there van ? Any recommendations would be appreciated before I start doing the rounds to buy another unit.
Thanks
AL

Hi Al;
There are a lot of battery chargers out in the market , but if i were to purches a new battery charger . the top of my list would have to be C-TEK . they have a good share of the market at the moment . The size that you should look at is some thing around the 20 to 30 Amp model.
A bit of ouer kill with a charger of that size, but it the charger would do it easy. These type of battery chargers are very small and compact, size wise there about the size of a house brick.
Good luck.

The general requirement is 10% of the battery power.
So my suggestion would be to source a good quality 20 amp battery charger that has at least three stage charging plus pulse if you can get it
.
Mine is a 20 amp Projecta multi stage charger to charge the 2X100 amp batteries.

There are many more on E bay, Quality unknown.
Hope this helps.
