Hello everyone. Am in Wanganui and able to use sisters computer. Hope everyone well.
Had some usual dramas. Spent most of the day of the wedding in bed very sick. Woke up that morning with it, think cught from the night befores meal. Made it up long enough to see the ceremony then back to the motel room bed. Luckily all in the same building. Coming right now but now have a large stye in my left eye with a swellen cheek to go with it.
When dressed will go to the chemist and get something for it. Have read a few posts to catch up. I see some are enjoying Greens Lake again. Will read some more when I get back from town.

I do feel for you, to go all that way for a very special occasion and then to spend most of the time feeling so ill. Hope your recovery is speedy and the remainder of your trip is all you could wish for. Best wishes, Annie

If I remember rightly there's a long tunnel and tall tower in Wanganui. Great echoes and views respectively. Hope you feel better soon.

Feeling ok now, only the eye playing up. Got some drops from chemist yesterday but they are only for congunctivitis. They said I really need to go to a doctor and as I haven't got one here I may need to go to the hospital. Will see what its like tomorrow.
We visited our cousin yesterday and did some shopping. Sandra cooked us whitebait fritters for lunch. They have a stream running through the bottom of their property where she caught 26 pound last season. Many years since I've had whitebait. Yummy.

Hey Marj sorry about your illness but good you are feeling better, an old remedy for a sty is to rub it with a gold ring or something preferably 18ct, I know it sounds silly but does work, do it a few times every couple of hours..........
