Hi Jonathan, I was in Naracoorte a few weeks ago, pity we missed. If you are planning on being in SA for a while, check out a 2-Month National Park Pass, its good value at $60 or $70 (I forget which price) but it doesn't allow you into Flinders Range NP or the Desert NP so check it carefully if you are thinking of it. The Naracoorte Caves Office will tell you all about it.
I'm currently on the Eyre Peninsula heading for WA, enjoy your travels,

There is Telsta at Boomi but unsure about TV reception, think there is, would probably remember if there was no TV reception. The pools are very good at the Gwydir caravan park, but a lot of the sites in the park are very cramped, depends were you are sited, this park is very busy and very large, but has the best pools, if it didn't I would stay elsewhere. The Boomi park is quite small about 10 sites, very nice amenities and a very pleasant artesian pool, also a larger main pool suitable to do laps, all this has been created by a community co op, lovely place to stay and enjoy the pleasant company that this park seems to attract and about half the cost of staying in Moree. Cheers David

Might catch up somewhere along the way Jonathon. Depends where you head when you get to the border and how long you take to get there.

Worth drop inping in, to Gren's Lake. Still beautifull here, free, and weather's still nice. And no more so many boats now.

Hi folks ..
I'll be departing Naracoorte on Thursday morning to wend my way to Boomi which is sorta north of Moree in NSW.
No dedicated time schedule or daily destinations .. work 'em out as I travel !
If you happen to be around/near to my travel-path and you wish to catch up .. then let me know .. could likely work something out !
.. Naracoorte <> Horsham <> Swan Hill <> Balranald <> West Wyalong <> Forbes <> Parkes <> Dubbo <> Coonabarabran <> Narrabri <> Moree <> Boomi ..
