In November while travelling in Victoria, I met Nomadic1, Lynda, firstly at Greens Lake, then again in Genoa.
When she heard I'd been unwell, she came out of her way to the northern end of the Gold Coast to catch up with me on her northern migration.
I had planned a full day of playing tour guide tomorrow, but an appointment came up unexpectedly, so we only had this afternoon.
We had a lovely catchup, while I showed Lynda some of our beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland.
Great to see you again Lynda. See you again some time out in the playground.

Are they taking a small plug, I think its called. I had one done back in Echuca last year. The results came back ok with severe sun damage.

I guess that's what it'll be. Molescan doctor said he KNOWS it's skin cancer, but hospital asked him to do the biopsy. I guess that's understandable..they can't just take his word for it.

Good luck Beth. Won't be home to see what the results might be, as leaving in the morning for Wuruma Dam. Hope it all goes well, whatever the result.
Take care,
Sheba.

Oh okay. So it could still be several weeks before the op itself is done. By the time the hospital receives the results and gets back to me again.
I had another one off my nose several years ago...much smaller than this one...but I can't remember the time span.

Could be up to a week for the initial results. If a positive they should get rolling fairly quickly after that but quickly could be a minimum of another week.

Beth, my friend who has just had something similar done, is getting along well, and pleased with the results of what the Dr. did with hers. She couldn't afford Plastic Surgery, so her DR. did everything himself, in his surgery, with just Local Anasthaetic. Her daughter, who's a Nursing Sister, sat with her throught the procedure.
Will be thinking of you.
Cheers,
Sheba.

The plastics Dept at the PA will do the job, so won't cost me. The Molescan doctor said he wouldn't do it because it's a big job.
My previous one was done in the doctors surgery...my Dad's doctor actually. He was a bit of an expert at it, had done lots on Dad. But that one didn't require a skin graft, this one will.
I've organised to have morning tea with my daughter tomorrow before going for the biopsy, so that will be nice.
And I'll be sure to have someone with me when they do the real thing.

Oh and Marj, expect a message from Lynda. She didn't know that you'd moved to Biggy. She'll be going through there in a couple of weeks.

Oh good, not sure if we have met yet, was thinking about it after reading your opening thread. I know she was at Greens lake and met up with a few. Can't remember if I was there.

I guess that can happen when you're meeting so many nomads. My problem is their 'real' name as opposed to their GN moniker.

Beth, thanks for being such a great tour guide. It was so good to catch up with you and find out all about your activities since last we met. I hope that your biopsy was OK and that the results are at least easily treatable. I hope that you manage to get away for a while too in the near future.
Marj, yes we did meet at Greens Lake early last year but I'm not really surprised that you forgot because there were a fair few of us about. If I may, I'll contact you a bit before I get to Biggenden - probably about May-ish.
