I haven't had anyone other than a GN recognise me, but it seems my Lucy and Lulu are pretty recognisable. Maybe it's because the car is red and there's not too many Nippers on the road.
The car has Lucy on the back, plus the new GN sticker, but I haven't got a Lulu sticker for the van yet. But it does have Beth & Mike UHF 18/40 on the back. And no, there is no Mike, just a security measure for this solo female.
I saw a Nipper at Lake Cargelligo which must have been some sort of delux model..it had a kind of tilt-a-door awning on the back. Just pop it up and there's your awning. Love that idea!

Well some must, while camped at the recent festival a fellow vanner parked about 50mtrs behind us approached & asked if I was on a forum.
After some conversation couriosity got the better of me so asked how did he know.
I have part of my signature tag on the back of the van which he had read & put it together, at the same time he never seen the GN sticker that was directly below the tag. He had been visiting this site as a guest so I suggested he sighn up, said he would but havent heard from him yet.
Goes to show that some things do stick in the mind.

Hello JC I have only seen one sticker on a van and it was really hard to see on the white background I have had some larger ones made up, about the size of a number plate, laminated and given to a few nomads at Greens They really have to go in a plate holder or on the inside of the rear windows
I hope Cindy doesnt mind as it is highlighting the Grey Nomads even more Ken

Hi Ken,
We were recipients of your enlarged "Grey Nomads" Sticker at Echuca. Nicely done but we do not have a back window in our van, so it is in the side window under the awning for now.
Look forward to seeing you on the road in the future. We are off in early May to Townsville around the south coast of NSW to Noosa, then Longreach. Thence to T'Ville to see Joys'
family and then...........who knows.
Regards Chris and Joy

We have travelled many Kilometres with our older style sticker on the back of the van and have had a few people in caravan parks comment and I have told them about the forum but have not had any members of the forum come up and chat as a result of stickers and although I keep an eye out for stickers I haven't seen any in the playground.
