Due to the landslide last year on this highway, it will be closed for works 3 days a week for 4-5 weeks. I think it starts next week. So closed Tues am to Thurs pm. Alternative route is via Nerriga - turnoff south of Nowra. Or there is Brown Mountain just north of Bega.

We plan to be using the Kings Highway within the next week or so, so I made some enquiries and was advised that the full closure of the road begins on the 28th May between 7.30am on a Tuesday through until 5.00pm on the Thursday, each week for 4 or 5 weeks until the works are completed.
