Can anyone tell me how I could heat a wheat bag without using (electricty) microwave.
It would be heaven for my stiff back at the end of the days drive.

Great idea, out of the wind and even in winter most dashboards or rear shelfs can get pretty hot if there's some sun around.
If parked up and not raining on the bonnet of the car may work too, but you would have the cooling wind factor.
Maybe a hot water bottle would suit??

I carry a hot water bottle in the van and didn't think of using it instead of the heat bag. Good thinking.
