About 205 k east of Perth, city water and flushing toilets available, 3.6k walk around the rock, shorter if you cut through the middle, more if you walk to the summit. CAW book says 7k of dirt of highway, buQuiet spot to camp (we stayed three days) Free (which makes it even better) Better still if you are not there on weekends, as it is possibly a picnic destination for Perth workers....
Tried to attach pictures, but was taking forever, so decided to forego the photoes.

The road in from the highway is not dirt, however is extremely narrow. The only dirt is the track around the rock. Could be an issue after heavy rain, and there was one wash out further along the drive, however the road to the campsite near the toilets is fine. We have an off road van, however, saw a light weight Jayco pass our site, so did not have an issue with the washout. I have attached a photo of our site, which was about 500 metres along from the main camp at the toilets.
I am told by a couple who went there 3 weeks ago that the rock is now just a day rest area - NEW no camping signs, and the road around the rock has been closed - a Private road sign up.
Kokerbin Rock - same place it sounds like???

That's a shame Spida, it was a great spot to Freedom camp.

You can now camp at Kwolyin - at the start of the road to Kokerbin. Excellent facilities in the old township - just follow the sign in through the scrub off Kwolyin Street. Brand new flush toilets, town water, gas BBQ, kitchen with gas hob, several covered and uncovered picnic tables. Caravan parks bulldozed into the scrub around the outer ring road and a group camping area in the centre. FREE!!!!
