Would like to tell you about the initiative shown by just one guy , who runs the Arno Bay pub in SA. You pay $10 for a stay of three days and get the $10 back in a voucher to spend at the pub or at one of the shops .He is trying to put a dump point in .( hope he dosn't get run out of town trying to show some business forthought.)

I reckon it would be worth a stay there to go fishing. I recently saw a pic of the biggest King George Whiting I have ever seen which was caught there. I didn't think they grew so big.
If I find the pic I'll post it.
Cheers Neil

The biggest snapper in Oz are caught out from Arno bay. My biggest was 13.5kgs, released, and someone landed an 18kg version. Great spot , will be back. Bill

Some beaut fishing spots over that way no doubt about that. Also some good crabbing spots. i learnt to hunt for crabs over that way along the sand line useing a metal rake. Seen all these blokes heading down with rakes and never seen crabs cought this way, i thought they were going to rake the sand to clean the sea weed away. Oh how wrong i was when they came back with buckets of big crabs.Soon went and brought a metal rake.

Now that's what i call a decent size fish. ..you only dream of that kind of catch. Makes me wan't to head backk over that way. But heading to N/T soon to go fishing, while the wife heads up the snow.Could not think of any thing more in the world ,that i would not want to do is pay to freeze all day.
