We have been moving ever so slowly towards the top of the York Peninsula and came across the camp spot at Sawn Reach. What a greatlace to stop for the night and decieded to stay another day. Right on the great Murray River with so much bird life out our front door, what a view to behold. Will be moving onto Berri tomorrow and then onto Burra, Clare before moving onto the Peninsula. What a great place this is.
Take care out there
Brian and Cheryl.

If you are free camping at Berri, Martin's Bend is on the river too. Toilets only. Caretaker, who runs it well and stands no nonsense. Dog friendly.

Hi back to both of you. Yea we are having a ball. I think me more than Cheryl is falling for this state and what it has to offer. One of the bet aspects is that it is all packaged together with really short distances between places of interest.
Trust is well at your end

Thanks for that Scotty. I think we are headed for site 163 in camps book #6. I'm told it's first class with 30 day stay. We'll use that for a look around before moving into the York Peninsula. Travel safe.

Sounds great Brian and Cheryl. I'm a long way away, currently sitting in St Lawrence free camp just up from Marlborough Q'land.
Tomorrow, my daughters free camp in Townsville.

You are making good time Dougwe. Hopefully you will get there in time for the football match. The old saying... where there's a will, there's a way.

The Caravan Pk at Swan Reach via the council is trying to close down that free camp. See my previous post on this. Great meal at the pub across the river too.

This is an unreal free camp, well it's a gold coin donation really. Clean toilets with $1 showers, rubbish bins and water but not to drink according to the sign Next to the tap. Heaps of very friendly people too. Shame if it gets closed down.

Glad the four of you are having a ball. Not to cold I hope? How's my girlfriend, she missing me.
