Dave & Di, we've just joined up after lurking for a while. Just ordered the new van, house is going on the market soon (let's hope it sells before the van is ready for pick up) and then the tug has to be ordered and delivered and modified and all the rest of the stuff we've read about while lurking here and on some other forums. It's all been great advice and has been really helpful and we'd like to thank everyone here for the willingness to share their knowledge and experience - we'll try and pay it back by doing the same.
I'm sure we'll have something more to say as departure time draws closer

A very warm welcome Dave and Di it is lovely to 'see' you both here on the forum. You are right it holds a wealth of valuable info for both the accomplished travellers and new travellers all you need to to is grab what info suits you.
Dougwe told you a firfy in that he said to watch out for "don't be to dazzled by wombat holes or Gypsy's" . Us three being Dazren, Wombat and me Bohemian Gypsy (Michelle) are the loveliest people you would want to meet. Very friendly and helpful always ready with a joke or a laugh. Dougwe is the real troublemaker here and I tell you that for free lol.
Have fun as well as meet great people when you start your journey.

Hi Dave and Di,
We are Lynn and Les, we have our van sitting in the driveway, while we do some repairs on the house, then it too is going on the market.
This place is brilliant for information, to meet people and just to chat and have a laugh. I'm glad you stopped looking and started joining.

Hi D and D, welcome
we've got our property on the market and are 'ready to travel' (too)...
though we haven't ordered any new van just yet.....
I hope your homesale is timely and rewarding.....
meanwhile keep dreaming/learning/even planning about what lies ahead; it'll happen 'sometime'.
Most of all, good luck.
