Walking down the street today in hervey bay & picked up a Visa card right in front of the Super Cheap store, some one must have just dropped it moments before as they left the shop.
It was a NAB card, looked accross the street & there was the Nab. Took it over & handed it in thinking they may be able to contact the owner before they discovered it missing & had to go through all process of cancelling & re applying.
When the girl read the guys name on the card I got the impression that she even knew him. Hope she got it back to him in time.

reminded me of my grandson (aged 15) a lady in front of him dropped her visa card so he picked it up and gave it back to her, she in turn offered him $10 which he refused to take but she caught up with him and put it in his pocket he was upset as he had been taught not to take money in cases like that. Guess who is a real proud Nanna. Helena.

When my sister was about 10 years old, she found a twenty dollar note in the street on the way home from school. My neighbour saw her pick it up and claimed it was hers, so my sister gave it to her. Later that afternoon the woman turned up at our door and admitted that the money wasn't hers after all, but she only returned $10, keeping the other $10 for herself.
