At last today we were officially told how much we would get for our wrecked car. A bit more than we feared we would get but less what it has cost us to replace it. So we have come home with another Suzuki. We still have to get the brackets & braking system put on it so we can tow it with our hitch-n-go. So we are out of pocket a few thousands through no fault of our own. Sad but that is how it is out in the real world. I've still got a few aches & pains but walking now with only a minor limp. Hand is still multi-coloured with bruise.
But I'm ready again to tackle life & enjoy all the good bits. Alice

Good on you, Alice. The accident will soon be relegated to a memory and everything will be rosy again. Best wishes for a limpless and bruiseless recovery.

Good news Alice, even though tinged with a bit more cost - but, a vehicle is replaceable - glad you are starting to improve!!

You're still alive and relatively uninjured and that's the real blessing. Pity about the Suzi though.

I'm glad you were able to replace the car. I know the insurance didn't cover a replacement, but at least they paid for most of it. I tend to look at it, at least you had insurance, some people don't bother, and then when they loose their car, they have nothing. Plus the most important thing, you are alive, though still slightly battered.

Glad you were able to get a new car. Keep an eye on your injuries so they don't give you any surprises down the track. II had glass come out of my head 3 months later.
