Fishing Dangers In North/West of WA Near Quobba Blowholes (north of Carnarvon)

Saw this on tonight's news. Very sad. I do wonder if there was a language barrier with the signs, being able to speak English doesn't always mean it can be read, translated the way it was intended.

Like many other coastal rock areas in Australia, king waves can be killers. WA's south and south west areas are also notorious at popular fishing spots. See this report on the popular Quobba Blowholes area north of Carnarvon;
The Police spokesman in this article is my nephew who is in the Water Police...

Was there last 2 weeks ago and there was no way I was fishing the rocks as the waves are so big and unpredicable . the signs are in other languages It's still a beaut place to visit though

After visiting this place and seeing the rocks and waves I wondered why they would even need signs. It is obviously dangerous.
