Help needed with creating an avatar , not very clever at computer skills without grandkids !!!!

Welcome to The madhouse, we are all crazy, at least that's what my kids are telling me for even thinking about travelling. I had all sorts of trouble creating an avatar, until I realised that you must do it on a PCM, it can not be done on an iPad.
