Well here I was relaxing yesterday and checked my emails, one saying I had a PM from a GN. Ok then so I checked it out and 'Bowlerbear' Chris was in Townsville so I was not far away from her hiding spot this afternoon so called around, picked her up and played tour guide for a while as she had never been to Townsville before the an afternoon on the 'Strand' chatting. Great afternoon spent in great company. Geeee this lifestyle is hard. I don't think Dazren could handle this at all.
Thanks Chris. Hope we catch up again before you leave the area.

Townsville is my home, moved there 21 years ago(on a whim) and my children and friends followed! So far over thirty people have made it their home! Nobody had trouble getting work, three of us did a degree at JCU and one of us is serving in the army there. We do a lot of boating and camping in the local area and beyond. Enjoy your stay.
Cheers Julie

I was here waiting for mail to catch up with me. It has now arrived so I feel a bit of a fraud still staying but don't really feel like moving on just yet. I'm staying with friends camped in their front yard but don't want to wear out my welcome. Can't really decide where to go from here though apart from north. Any suggestions?

Gday...
Make sure everything is secure, start the engine, put it into gear, point it toward any long thin black sealed road and push the right hand pedal down gradually. Then just operate the round thing in front of you to change direction as you follow the long thin black sealed road to wherever it takes you.
Live is too short to plan too much
