Excellent link Don and Glenda, could be printed off too I would imagine. Thanks from me too!
Jay & Dee, I think the ones you may be referring to are the ones distributed by caravan parks and caravan and camping shows for the Caravan Industry (including parks), see this list that shows the various states it can be obtained from, if you email them the should be able to provide one for each state and can put you on their mailing list.
Please note though, you will only find those parks that are their association members, here is the link;

In Queensland we can pick up the 2013 Caravan Park directory virtually from any Caravan Park.. I have tried to find same for the other states on the internet, but no luck.
Anybody have any ideas as to how we can access the list of parks in the to her States.
We are about to leave Brisbane on a 4 to 6 months journey into Paradise and beyond.
Thanks

I think RACQ will give you a free (all Oz) caravan book if you are a member. Used to anyway but I haven't asked for one for a long time.

Jay & Dee,
The publications you speak of only cover selected caravan parks who are either in a chain or who pay to be listed in it.
The same goes for RAC and NRMA publications.
They do not list all caravan parks.
The best book for caravan parks Australia wide is Caravan Parks Australia Wide which list all caravan parks, yes you do have to pay for it but will get all caravan parks, not just a few, see;
Another two very useful sites are www.turu.com.au and www.badger.com.au, there are full listings of all states and reports on the parks by other travellers we use these in conjunction with the stats motoring organisations books. The RACQ will give you one of these books free whereas the NRMA charges members for them and its same book different cover.

JayDee if you have an iPad or other type tablet or Smart phone try the Wikicamps App. This app is getting better and better every week. I think it costs $1.99 to down load.

Most major book stores, some newsagents and camping stores normally stock this, RAC WA does also but I am not sure of other states.
RAC gives 20% discount to members, Dymocks give 10% discount to Seniors.
The same publisher also publishes Camps Australia Wide which is available in the same places.
RAC still do, both accommodation and tourist parks, but only list those who pay to be in it, not all parks are shown....

This is the CCIA free book for NSW. It's available at most information centres.
