Hi Brett, we are off on a road trip,as soon as I get back to Gladstone and wife gets back from her rendezvous re skiing and over in Perth with daughter.
We have been to the races and enjoyed every minute of it,even though the year we were there never seen one race, due to the race meet getting washed out from all the unseasonal rain that year. But believe me hundreds will be there in all types of vehicles from motor bikes /RVs of all brands and makes and size/(home made ones as well).I think there was at least 20 planes there ,and a lot of tourist busses and not forgetting all the jacka roos and jill a roos that arrive from all the stations...
So who knows we might end up out there again.

We are planning to go with a group of Southern Cross fifth wheeler owners - first Betoota, then Birdsville, then Bedourie. Just hoping the weather is dry this year as I don't like the idea of being stuck in the mud.
