We just got an NRMA CTP direct out of local office for $365 Were advised there has been price reduction..... 2011 Ford territory .. No discounts

Prices do differ for different vehicles, I got a quote a few days back for a new vehicle from NRMA, our regular supplier& it was $435.
Rang a broker for quote on same car , $514 with QBE.

Just as a excersice I tried for an online quote.$522.97 verses an over the counter of $435.24.
I think that talking to them is the best option

The other rating factors for CTPs are the post code where garaged and your age and driving history. If garaged in rural areas it is cheaper than major metro areas or what is considered high risk areas.

It's very easy to use the greenslip comparison site to get a quote from all the companies that supply green slips.

The NSW RTA website has the option for you to get a quote for Greenslip normally for us the GIO has the best price but because we had a very minor crash our third party has gone up massively for a two year period.
Changed rego from both names into wife's name cost of $35 at RTA and saved $405 on our third party and I dont feel at all guilty because what they are doing is an absolute rip off
Comprehensive insurance not impacted by accident as have maximum no claim benifit for life.
