We are about 10klms north of Elliston, SA at Walkers Rock ( #705 ) with the weather is a bit on the wild side with winds around 45 kph and gusting to 60 plus. Rained a fair bit o/night and does not look like letting up. The winds are not expected to drop to under 30 kph until tomorrow so we are staying put until then. At least we can go up onto the beach and watch the sea at its powerful best. We are quite safe and we are don't see any point in trying to pull a van around in these conditions. Cannot even get out to look around.
Take care out there people

Wise move Briche, we have had some severe stormy weather in WA (north and south of Perth etc) in the last few days, has hopefully passed over for the time being, hope you can get on your way soon.

Not a good idea to be out on the road today. Victoria is supposed to cop a beating.

Sounds like the best plan Brian and Cheryl, safer for sure, besides, you have to think of the girls as well, their safety is very important too.

Of course Doug, we would not want them to get scared. At the moment blowing a bit and heavy rain shower and the dogs well their sound asleep, who frightened, not them that's for sure. All they are worried about is when's the meal time
Thanks mate and take care

I'm with you, Brian. If the weather's kaput, stay bloody put! The dogs sound like they're well organized.
